Terms and conditions effective from 1st October 2023

Fees
Nursery fees are payable for 51 weeks of the year, which includes bank holiday closures. Our closure over the Christmas period of 2023 is as follows;

We will be closed 25th & 26th December – and bank holidays , 27th, 28th and 29th December  (these 3 dates will not be chargeable).

We will be closed 1st January (Bank
Holiday) and will be open as usual from Tuesday 2nd January 2023.

We will not charge fees if we close due to inclement weather.

One month’s notice of leaving is required.

For children attending term time only a 50% retainer will be charged throughout the
holidays.

Allocation of Places
Places are allocated on the following basis: Siblings of existing children; Waiting List children; First come, first served.

Snacks, Lunch & Refreshment
Breakfast, hot lunch, mid-morning and afternoon snacks and refreshments are included within the daily fees. Parents may supply packed lunches if they prefer but no reduction in fees are offered.

Additional Hours
Where additional hours are required these may be booked from £8.25 per hour unless otherwise priced within the ‘Schedule of Fees’. A minimum of 1 hour is charged except where there are ½ hourly rates.

Late Collection/Non-booked hours
Where you are late in collecting your child from any session and you have not pre-booked additional hours. All parents/ carers will be given a 5 minute grace period on late collection of their child. If your child still has not been collected five minutes after their session has ended, then a £10 charge will be levied and for every 10 minutes thereafter. This is in conjunction with our ‘late collection and non-collection policy’.

Invoicing
Invoices are produced each month based on these prices. All invoices are
emailed to parents or printed off at parents request. It is your responsibility to inform us if an invoice has not been received. Late payment charges will still be applied if
payment is not on time, irrespective whether you have received an invoice or not.

Late Fees Charge
All fees are due by the 1st of the month. Where fees are not
received in cash or in our account by this date a Late Payment Charge of £25 per child
per month will be applied, each further day of no payment £2.00 will be added. We
pursue any debts with a strict policy that may result in exclusion if payments are not
made on time.

Terms and conditions for Funded children effective from 1st October 2023

If you are using funded hours only, with no additional hours, you will not be required to pay a registration fee, however, if you do require additional hours, the £50 registration fee will apply.

Food (breakfast, snacks, lunch and tea) are not included in the funding hours – this is an optional additional payment. If you do not wish Jelly Bears to provide food, you must bring a lunchbox with enough food for your child for their session, in accordance with our ‘healthy packed lunch’ policy. 

*Please note we have limited funded packed lunch spaces- please enquire first if you would like a packed lunch place, if there is no space when you apply you can request to be put on the waiting list for when a place becomes available*

Consumables
A consumables charge will be applied based on the hours your child attends.

Invoicing
Invoices are produced each month. All invoices are emailed to parents or
printed off at parents request. It is your responsibility to inform us if an invoice has not
been received. Late payment charges will still be applied if payment is not on time,
irrespective whether you have received an invoice or not.

Funded weeks for 2023/2024 will be:

• Autumn term 1 – September 4th – October 27th (8 weeks)
• Autumn term 2 – November 6th – 22nd December (7 weeks)
• Spring term 1 – January 8th – February 9th (5 weeks)   
• Spring term 2 – February 19th – March 22nd (5 weeks)
• Summer term 1 – April 8th – May 24th (7 weeks)
• Summer term 2 – June 3rd – July 15th (6 weeks)
