Our Jelly Bears emblem celebrating our 4th Birthday. It was designed by one of our talented children and represents “Friends, reading books and painting”.
Jelly Bears Day Nursery is a family-run Nursery providing full daycare and education for children from birth to 5 years. The nursery is registered for 30 children and is open all year round excluding bank holidays and Christmas.
Jelly Bears Day Nursery is owned by Barry Greening and managed by his daughter, the Managing Director Kim Boon. Kim’s Husband Dan is always on hand to do the bare necessities. Kim is supported by a team of highly trained and dedicated staff.
Jelly Bears Day Nursery was awarded ‘The Bristol Standard’ in October 2019, 2020 and 2021!

Managing Director
Kim is the Managing Director, she is highly experienced in childcare and is a mother to Ettienne and Molly. Kim will be mainly in the office but will also be in the rooms too. Alongside Courtney, Kim is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Deputy Manager
Leah is our Deputy Manager who works in the office but will also be in the rooms. Leah is also the designated Safeguarding Lead.
Jelly Babies/Tots
Zoe is our Jelly Babies Room Lead.

Rachel is Level 3 qualified and predominantly works in the Jelly Babies.

Jorja (also sister to Kim) has completed her level 3 apprenticeship and is our Jelly Tots Room Lead.

Ellie is predominantly in Jelly Tots room and is Level 3 Qualified.
Quality Lead
Wendy is our Quality Lead and has been with Jelly Bears since we opened in 2018.

Cook
Helen is our highly experienced Cook, she cooks all of our fresh homemade meals every day and has a 5* food hygiene rating! Download the current Spring-Summer menu here. If your child has any allergies or dietary requirements please feel free to talk to her at any point.
maternity leave
Jessie has been with Jelly Bears since we opened in 2018. Jessie is also the sister of Kim and the daughter of Barry. Jessie is currently on MAT leave.

We take health very seriously. This includes everything from the quality of food that we serve to the health of every child and every education professional. All of our qualified staff hold a paediatrics’s first aid certificate, and our facility is maintained to the highest standards.
